This week on Khalifa Conversations we’re going to talk about halal & tayyib meat with Fitrah Farms, a family-owned & operated farm that specializes in pasture-raised, organic, soy-free, non-GMO, hand-slaughtered halal poultry.
Fitrah Farm uses regenerative farming practices to serve their community which is good for us, the animals, the community, and the land. We’ll discuss the difference between cage-free, free-range, and pasture-raised meats. We’ll chat about how poultry farming has informed the practice of their faith as well as their eating habits.
Please join Green Muslims and Green Ramadan for Khalifa Conversations, discussions on practical ways to live the environmental spirit of Islam. Wednesdays during Ramadan at 3 PM ET.
